Don't panic! here's an emergency plan for alumni

You're so excited about all the night, the zebras for the exams, but it's just a joke. But now you're starting to wonder why you wanted him to be so fast

Although it is an official admission to adult life, it can make you feel more like a child than anything else. You go on stage to take the expensive place of paper and into the world, feel disorientate, and confuse what's next

You dreamed that your "what's next" would land on your dream, but now you realize what's easier said than done. How do I start? Exactly where there is an urgent job plan, we will guide you on steps of adult life. Because after all the people who said you needed to rush him?

Step 1: Figure Out Where The Money Will Come From

You may not have gone to student loans and parental bank accounts in the last four years. But for those of us who were, it's time to figure out how you're going to support yourself

If you do not have the opportunity to return home, as long as you know your plan, find a part-time job and organize your finances, possibly in order. Find out what you need to survive and determine what your source of income will be to help you reach the end. Remember that the weekly risers are not required

Don't forget that you may have to start paying these student loans not too long after graduation. When designing an attack plan, and in the future, you will make your payments less dramatic. For some of the gravel

Understanding your costs can be a huge dose of reality. If you can't find a full-time job, you may have to take a few part-time jobs to help you make ends meet. This is an important step to ensure that you do not end up living in your parents ' basement for the rest of your life

Step 2: Create the LinkedIn Profile

LinkedIn is a powerful tool that searches for candidates and searches for candidates, so it's time to erase the dust in your profile and make it shine (or install it first). Your LinkedIn company should, at the very least, be a supplement to your CV and probably will be the first case where employers will look for your name in Google

Do not select a time to completely fill each section. This means that you don't have to simply write job titles and don't provide context. Includes a brief description of your experience, what you are looking for, and do not be afraid to add it to your personal qualities. The voluntary experience, certificates and courses that you have been smoking in school can also go a long way, as well as something that can be useful to potential employers

The recruiters will be looking for potential candidates by searching for things that are in your profile, so make sure that whatever they need is

Step 3: Optimize your resume

Please accept the information you put in the LinkedIn profile and create/update your resume. The LinkedIn profile will contain much more information than your resume, and as a new class, your résumé should be only one page. Take the main points and should know what you need to know from your LinkedIn and add them to your resume. Also ensure that your résumé has a reference to your LinkedIn profile

Your résumé will change from the position you are referring to, but you have a simple template so that you can work faster with new features

Step 4: Create the portfolio

My professional website put me in front of a great professional and a recruiter than anything else. Take the time to create a Web site that shows what you can do. Include examples of work from school projects or assignments and update them as real world experience increases

When it begins, a summary may be lost in a pile of hundreds of others and most likely in a database of renewal, so something more can be what makes your foot in the door. The presence of an online portfolio makes it easy to share this relationship wherever potential employers or contacts can find you

Step 5: Create new friends

Just as we all liked to sit behind our computers, update our LinkedIn and resume and pray that something was in our case to get online, or to invite professionals in the coffee industry, you can open many doors

LinkedIn can be a good place to find and create connections, such as

If you are taking part in the network events (which we recommend you do), make sure you get the business cards from your connections. Therefore, you can keep track of new connections after the meeting, and you will not be able to contact you

Finally, look at the users you already have on the network. Think about the teachers you've had in the past, friends of the family, or those who can give you a view. You never know who knows who will never hurt you

Step 6: Exit the Butt And Get Involved application

You work part-time to pay the bills, but it doesn't give you the experience you're looking for or meeting people in the industry. This is where volunteering, shadowing or interning can be important

Pull yourself off the couch and put yourself in the right place. Find out what local events are occurring and see how you can participate or help. Connect to some new connections (you read step 5, right?) and see if you will be able to shadow their shadowed jobs for several hours. These opportunities will add experience to your CV, but they will also get you before new connections

No one said you'd have to go to "adult life" with a full career on the day you graduated. There is no harm in getting your life to help you understand what's next
